      Dean Cornish resides in what is considered the nations most historical city, Fredericksburg Virginia, with his wife and best friend Judy and his four children Jessica age 23, Andrew age 19, Zachary age 12 and Brooke the youngest at age 10. He's also the proud grandfather of Jessica's son Jonathan "Ty" Steinmetz who is now 4 years old. Dean was born in Hartford Connecticut however has lived most of his childhood and adult life throughout Virginia.
      After 21 very successful years as an automotive executive Dean retired and started his own sales training company The Dean Cornish Group where he became well known as a “high energy & motivational” sales trainer in the Washington DC metro area. Early in his automotive career Dean applied Zig's principle based training and selling skills to become the TOP PRODUCER in a Northern Virginia Chevrolet franchise winning numerous awards and breaking many sales records. Dean regularly sold three to four times the national average in the automotive industry. As a result he quickly moved up the corporate ladder in his career and eventual became the youngest General Manager for the largest Washington area Chrysler Dealer group. He is proud to have accomplished becoming one of the first Chrysler Five Star Dealers in the Washington DC metro area.
      In 2004 Dean joined the Ziglar Performance team and in 2005 became the TOP PRODUCER Nationally. In his own words "I owe my success to Zig Ziglar and his principle based training. Working with Zig Ziglar is nothing less than a dream come true. I am honored to help carry his message of hope. The message that impacted my life so greatly."In 2007 Dean combined all of his sales and professional training experience and founded the 2020 Performance Group. A principle based staff development company with a focus on sales and customer service training through high energy motivational seminars.       Dean volunteers his time with Saint Patrick's Church in Fredericksburg Virginia, has served on the Citizen Review Panel for the Rappahannock Area United Way. He also helped organize the 2007 Fredericksburg area “Make a Difference Day” a fundraiser to help benefit Habitat for Humanity. He also belongs to Business Networking International; Toast Masters International. Dean Cornish regular speaks for no charge at the Stafford Diversion Center with inmates with the desire to make better life choices as well as Family Life Center in the Bragg Hill area of Fredericksburg, a member of the Americorp Group. Dean will continue to be available for no cost speaking engagements for what he considers our nations greatest asset, the children and teens of America.
